Woo Hoo! So I meant to have this up on New Years Day. It just happens to be the Chinese New Year. It's the year of the earth ox. I happen to know that I am a monkey in Chinese astrology. Kinda makes sense. I tend to be a little goofy. If you know me at all, then you know this to be true. Wanna find out what animal you are? Suzanne White can tell you. She is awesome. I think someone else does the daily but she tells it like it is in her books. Sure doesn't hold back reminding you what your faults are. This is no fortune cookie lady. Her book, The New Astrology, combines your Western sign (Scorpio etc) with your Eastern sign (Monkey etc) to offer a pretty darn good interpretation of you and your tendencies. Here's a bit from mine, Sag/Monkey(11/22/80):
"Sagittarians are always freethinkers. They blaze trails and shoot for the future. They are glib and humanitarian. They are direct and cheerful. Much of the above description also fits the Monkey character. So, in some ways, the Sagittarian Monkey is in harmony with both sides of his nature. Anyways, I am currently in the later stages of a GINORMOUS transition period in my life. It's been frickin' sweet. I'm doing what I love and getting paid for it. That is: making people look good (kettlebells) and feel good (kettlebells and bodywork). I put in some time and some money and now I'm beginning to reap the benefits. You may have heard of this guy Pavel. He rules. He and John DuCane formed the foundation of a large portion of my life as I now know it when they established Dragon Door. If you don't know, maybe you need to grab the bell by the horns.
